Finally, We've Found An Excellent Host - InMotion Hosting

Here at Tech Cores, we always try to deliver a quality website out to our viewers. The first step towards this was the redesign of Tech Cores, which really improved a variety of features on Tech Cores. With the new design, it made it possible for us to deliver a vast amount of content to our viewers without using that many resources. TechCores.com is the lightest and best looking technology blog on the internet. And I am very proud to be saying such a thing; I've really spent a lot of time on the new design, and it really has paid off.

But that doesn't mean we're not trying to make the experience even better. In the very beginning, around November of 2008, TechCores.com was really a slow website. We fixed that issue with the complete (and custom) design specially made for Tech Cores. Because of the complete remodel, Tech Cores was significantly faster than its previous design, but I thought we could still make it faster.

When I first came up with the idea for Tech Cores, I honestly didn't have the proper funding (and I really do not even to this day) to pay for running this website. If you don't know, typically running a website will cost you around six dollars per month for the hosting and around 7-11 dollars each year for the renewal of the domain name. In the very end of it, you're typically paying a minimal cost of $83 per year. Not too long ago, we were using a host that was a reseller for WebHostingPad. The host was very unreliable with all its downtime it was having, wasn't the fastest thing in the world, and the support took forever (~2 weeks) to reply to a support ticket; the didn't even offer phone support for their shared hosting. But like how everything turns out, you get what you pay for; I'll tell you, I was paying very little. And you know what, I cannot blame WebHostingPad entirely on the problems I was having, because they cannot control the support tickets; it's up to the reseller on that one. I still do not recommend them at all; that's the reason why I did not make "WebHostingPad" a link to their website. And you know what, that wasn't the only issue we were having with their hosting.

I went out on the internet looking for the best hosting company out there. The best hosting company is very opinionated, but I still wanted to find a host that offers truly 99.9% uptime, excellent support via the phone and e-mail, and just a great customer experience overall. The hosting company I found was InMotion Hosting. I googled many phrases to find out if InMotion Hosting really offered an excellent service; you know what, they are one of the top web hosting companies out there, and have been for a while! Another thing that shocked my attention was 24/7 support. Now you might think, everyone has that; you're right, but not everyone has 24/7 that actually knows what they are talking about. I already had some support sessions with them, and I can tell you, they are very knowledgeable about the services they offer, and even external services like PuTTY. I was very impressed with their support.

But it's not just the support that drives my fancy for InMotion Hosting, it's also their uptime, speed, and reliability. All three of those aspects met my expectations; okay, they didn't meet them, they overachieved them! The uptime, from what other users have reported, is truly 99.9% always up, which that always have to have that .1% taken away because they can do kernel updates and have the need to restart their system(s). The speed is so incredible, TechCores.com loads about the same speed as Google.com! I don't know about you, but TechCores.com loads very promptly. I am so glad that all of my coding for the new design has really paid off; these servers at InMotion Hosting really take advantage of how small Tech Cores is to load.

InMotion Hosting has exceeded all of my expectations and it even went past what I though I was going to get. Right now, I'm currently using their business class hosting, which in fact, is on very fast and stable servers. When I was talking to their support, they also offer the ability of seamlessly upgrading to a VPS (virtual private server) plan or even a dedicated hosting plan, which in my mind, is a very nice thing to have the expandability of migrating to a new and more powerful hosting plan. InMotion Hosting has greatly met all of the things I am looking for in a good host, speed, uptime, reliability, and support; I will start recommending InMotion Hosting to anyone who wants to start up their own website or even switch to their incomparable hosting plans.

InMotion Hosting gets hands down a 10/10 for really understanding what their customers want and desire. We will be looking forward to use their VPS and dedicated hosting plans in the future. Hopefully, we'll be able to switch Tech Cores over to a VPS or even a dedicated server soon to make the Tech Cores experience even faster and better on their powerful and reliable network.

Stalk me on social media! Any other way would just be creepy…
